L. Lorene Bass
L. Lorene Bass went home to be with God Monday, May 24, 2010. Her parents, Henry and Catherine (Stokes) Deckard; husband, Harley Bass; eight sisters and three brothers preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Needham and husband Paul; three sons, Jerry Bass and wife Judy, David Bass and wife Linda, Randy Bass and wife Julie; 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; one brother, Lawrence Deckard; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was loved by all who knew her and will forever remain in our hearts. We know she is at peace and what a wonderful reunion she is having. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 28, 2010, in Greenlawn Funeral Home North with Reverend Joe Decker officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 27, 2010, 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
