It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Laci Shea Bliss, a beloved daughter, mother, sister, and friend, returned home to her Father in heaven, on August 8, 2026, at the age of 40. Laci was born on September 3, 1985, in Weatherford, Texas, to David and Kristi Bliss, and spent her life cherishing the bonds of family and friendship. Her radiant spirit and contagious laughter touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impression that will be dearly missed.

Laci graduated with an associate’s degree as a class valedictorian and dedicated her career to serving as an office assistant in the solar industry, where her passion for renewable energy shone brightly. Her commitment to making a positive impact in her community was a testament to her generous heart and unwavering spirit.

Laci is lovingly survived by her father, David Bliss; her mother, Kristi Bliss; her son, Landon Trimble; her sister, Tabbitha Smith (Marshall); her brother, Taylor Bliss (Kristy); and her sister, Charity Wood (Adam); nine nieces and nephews; as well as many other family and friends. Each of them carries cherished memories of Laci that they will live on forever.

A Memorial Service will be held in her honor on Friday, August 14, 2026, at 4:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Hickory Hills Ward: 1357 South Ingram Mill Road Springfield, MO 65804-0625, where family and friends are invited to come together to celebrate Laci’s life and the joy she brought to so many.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home East and Pitts Chapel.

As we bid farewell to Laci, let us remember her kind heart, her infectious smile, and the love she shared with all who knew her. May she rest in peace, free from pain and surrounded by the love she so deeply cherished.
