My heart breaks - I am so very sorry for your loss. Working with Stacey all those years and with my son being the same age, we could share the ups and downs. of raising boys. Lane was so loved. My sincerest condolences.
Tony and Allison Ledford left a message on January 12, 2023:
Stacey and Bill, my heart is breaking for you. I want to share with you my favorite memory of Lane. One summer, we had taken 30 or so youth kids to North Dakota to serve on a Native American reservation. We hit the ground running knocking on doors to greet the families on the reservation and invite them to a grill-out and play games and witness to the families at a nearby park. The next thing we know, we turn around and Lane is fixing a little boy's bicycle. The boy was so excited that he rode away telling his friends. When we got back to our meet-up, Lane had a line of kids waiting to get their bicycles "serviced" by Lane. He was ALL about seeing a need and doing something about it even back then. Lane was always a source of laughter and mischief (in the best way) and he'll always be in my heart. Praying over your sweet, sweet family. With love - The Ledfords

To the family: I’m so sorry for your loss! I didn’t know him like I did Bill, Rachel and Vanessa, but my heart breaks for the loss of life at such young an age! To Brenda who I worked with at the State, when Lane was younger, it breaks my heart for your loss. I remember pictures you used to show, and how proud you were! To Tom and Olivia - who acted as a second Mom and Dad to me in high school- my heart breaks as a grandparent myself!

Lane had such a kind heart and I was so excited when he asked me about my CrossFit gym and decided to sign up. We shared many laughs and he showed me his "secret speakeasy" under his barber shop downtown. He had an old soul and that was something I really appreciated about him. Lane was loved and will very much be missed by many ♥️
