Larry Dean Samsel, 69 died at Skaggs Hospital in Branson, MO on Tuesday November 30, 2010.
He was born March 24, 1941 in Marionville, MO, son of Albert E & Helen Samsel.
Larry was member of Ridgeway Church of Christ, Ridgeway, AR.
Survivors include his wife of 30 plus years Suzy, 2 daughters, Tanya Taylor and husband Calvin of Tahlequah OK. Deidre Parton and husband Bryan of Blue Eye, MO. One son, Larry Stacy of Hollister MO. Two brothers Ronnie Samsel & wife Linda of Wellsville, KS, JL Samsel of New York and one sister Ramona Paulson and husband Bill of Washburn, MO. An Aunt, Joan Boyd of Springfield, MO. Grandchildren, Ashlee Smith, Michael Hodges, Jason Taylor, Shane Taylor, Candis Stacy, Kevin Stacy, Kelsey Parton, Hailey Parton-Coffelt, and Taylor Parton, two Step-Grandsons: Jason Taylor and Shane Taylor. 7 Great grandchildren, 4 nieces, 2 nephews, mother in law Jean Berry and a host of other friends and relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents Albert & Helen.
Larry was a past Worshipful Master of Branson Masonic Lodge and past Rajah of Taney County Shrine Club and a veteran of the US Navy and member of the VFW.
Funeral services will be December 4th at Greenlawn Funeral Home on Hwy 248, Branson. Visitation at 1 p.m. Masonic Services at 2 p.m. with services by Minister Bill Arnold immediately following.
