Larry D. Beeman, born April 17, 1953, went to be with the Lord on April 27, 2012, after his long, courageous fight with Lymphoma cancer.
He is preceded in death by his father Norman; and a grandson Austin.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years Brenda; son Jason and wife Stephanie; grandchildren Kyle and Hadley; his mother Betty; brothers: Dennis Beeman, and Bill Beeman and wife LaTrisia; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Larry served 23 years on the Springfield Fire Dep’t, reaching the rank of Captain. He loved spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. He will be remembered for his fondness of laughter and fun, and was loved by all that knew him.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 1, 2012, at Greenlawn Funeral Home East with Dwight Samuel officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens with Fire Fighter color guard. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM in the funeral home Monday, April 30, 2012.
