Larry Iverson, 67, of Springfield, MO died on Tuesday, May 7, 2013. He was a son, brother, husband, father and grandfather to a wonderful extended family. He was an avid outdoorsman that really enjoyed fishing in his spare time. He had a passion for running his two businesses in Springfield. He was the face of W.F. Cody’s often seen there daily talking and getting to know his patrons and friends many times while schooling them in a game of pool. He could be seen around town always trying out the latest and greatest new restaurants.
He is survived by his mother, Alta, his loving wife, Lorna, 2 children, a son, Jeff Iverson of Minot, ND and a daughter, Tonya Iverson of Mesa, AZ, along with 4 step-children 8 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Also half-sisters, Linda McCarthy of Helena, MT, Joni Van Dyke and husband Rick of Silver Springs, MD, and brothers, Donald F. Noack, Jr. and wife Debbie of Excelsior, MN, Bruce Noack of Maple Plain, MN, Robert K. Noack of Chaska, MN, Michael Noack and wife Shannon of Lakeville, MN and Kristi Noack-Limke (Grant) of Buffalo, MN.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Kevin Noack.
A memorial service will be Sunday, May 12, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Funeral Home-East in Springfield, MO. A visitation will be from 12:00 noon until service time at the funeral home.
