Larry Joe James born on Dec. 26, 1957, in Springfield Missouri to Floyd L. and Anna M. (Mincks) James, entered eternal rest on Dec. 26, 2021.
He was a much loved father, grandpa, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He is survived by seven children: Rodney Willis, Michael James, Melissa James, Teresa (Larry) Riffe, Nicole (Joe) Bick-Smallwood, Stephanie James, Devin (Veronica) James; eighteen grandchildren: Lauren, Michelle, Ashley, Cody, Khloe, Derik, Jacob, Colton, Jeshico, Jaylen, Britney, Alan, Alison, Keven, Kyle, Kalen , Aiden, Kane; four great-grandchildren; his father: Floyd L James; his sisters, Patricia (Jeff) Gamm, Beverly Trantham (Pat Smith); and many nieces and nephews.
Larry was preceded in death by his mother: Anna M. (Mincks) James; brother-in-law: Stephen Fesperman; and many other loved ones. He was a very hard worker. He liked to tinker on and rebuild old hot rods, he loved to fish, but most of all he loved spending time with his grandkids. He will be greatly missed.
Graveside Services will be Monday, January 3, 2022, 1:00pm at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
