Larry Ray Sharp, 79, of R.R. Mindenmines, MO. went to be with the Lord, December 16, 2019. Larry was born to Waldie and Frances (Erwin) Sharp on April 30, 1940, in Dallas County, MO. He married Patricia on April 15, 1974 in Albuquerque, N.M.
Larry spent his whole life breeding and training Quarter Racing Horses. He was the trainer of two World Champions: Tinys Gay and Osage Juana.
Larry was preceded in death by his father, Waldie and a younger brother, Danny. Larry is survived by his wife, Patricia, of the home, two sons Brad (Barbie) and Steven (Yvonne) and two daughters: Sheila Van Deudekom (Jerry) all of the state of California and Lynn Dennis, of Ruidoso, N.M.,his mother, Frances (Sharp) Harralson, two brothers: Rick and Jeff Sharp, and two sisters: Barbara Barley and Becky McCurry, thirteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 20, 2019, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, 3506 North National, Springfield, MO. 65803, with Pastor Daryl Gaddy officiating.
