Over the past several years, I have watched my fellow Horseman pass on, when my own health was so bad that I was sure I would be the next one of us to go. As I hear this news about Larry, I ponder the thought of going to funerals. The race track life puts us in the unique position to have met friends from all over the United States, even the world. In the last several years I have learned of friends death from California to New York & Montana to Florida, and most states in between. It would be impossible for me health wise to travel all over the country again like I used too with the Horses, to attend the funeral. Trainers are a lucky bunch to have friends from all over the world, so I hope the family understands that the size of a funeral does not in any means show the number of friends we have made or the lives we have touched, like Larry did, as the number would be so great the place couldn't hold em all. So again I say, Happy Trails my friend. Thank You for the memories.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

So sorry for your loss. Larry was a great horseman and a dear friend of mine. I met him in the mid 90's in Texas loved hearing all his stories he would tell. Will be sadly missed , a great man. Carl Durr St. George, SC
