Lawrence Odell Harlow, 89, Springfield, MO. passed away on July 1, 2023, at his home after a long illness. He was born on August 2, 1933, in Denmark, Arkansas to Johnathan and Lily (Anderson) Harlow. He was a retired self-employed roofer, owning his own roofing company for 7 years. Lawrence was a Korean War veteran of the United States Air-Force. He loved going to swap meets, and fixing things. He once had a Bike fix-it shop.
Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters: Laura Freeman, Edith Eisenhour, Iva Mae Harlow, Mable Harlow, and his brothers: Johnny Harlow, Carl Harlow, and Alvin Daniel.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law: Tina and Tom Mitchell, two grandchildren: Amber Vigor and William Trammell, five great-grandchildren: Chandler, Alyssa, Carleecia, Ryker and Russell. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters: Wanda Fae Combs, Eldon Harlow, Ray Harlow, and Johnathan Maddock Harlow Jr.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, with burial to follow, in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, MO.
