He died April 7, 2013 at his home in Branson.
He was born on October 7, 1937 in Munger, Michigan the son of Franklin and May Lambert Histed. He was a longtime resident of the area and was a retired maintenance engineer with the Branson Inn.
Survivors are three sisters and three brothers and longtime partner, Grover Parsons of the home.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Tri Lakes Animal Shelter in his memory.
