He was born September 12, 1930 in Clinton, Oklahoma to William L.Clayton and Veta E.(Klein) Clayton. He was preceded in death by his parents, , 1 brother, Lester Wayne, and 1 sister, Glenda Clayton.
Lealon is survived by his wife, Marie Helen, and 4 sons, Robert Lee of Greenville ,TN, James William of Ozark, MO, David Wayne of Halfway, MO, and John Thomas of Bolivar, MO. He is also survived by 1 brother, Billy Dean Clayton of North Carolina and 1 sister Noreen Loveland of Springfield, MO, as well as 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
