Although he was my neighbor, I hadn't known him for that long, but then again, felt like I'd known him forever. He was so kind and giving of everything....he wanted me to be safe and comfortable in my home by giving me some safety items. We loved to share our "leftyover meals" w/each other...watching and discussing the K.C. Chiefs games and always looking forward to the next ones. Be thinking of you Len when I yell "how about them Chiefs"! He loved to ride his scooter down the road.....stop in for a beer and visit SO VERY often...I will for sure MISS those visits being alone here. Fish all those great lakes up there my dear friend...Catch a big one ! --------TOMORROW---------- I heard a whisper in the air, I turned and for a moment I thought I saw you standing there, but only for a moment. I felt a breeze blow 'cross my face so cool, yet so consoling And then your presence in its place, my every thought controlling My heart cried out "Come back to us".....Don't leave us here to sorrow And then your whisper "Can't you see, I'm Healthy in Tomorrow And then you smiled and slipped away, my heart held no more sorrow, for I knew you'd come back some day, when I reach my TOMORROW. Your Buttercup neighbor, Judy Sherwood
