Leo Leonard Benes, age 87 of Bolivar, MO, passed away Thursday, September 13, 2018, in his home. He was born December 2, 1930, in Raymond, NE, to Frank and Gertrude (Mahacheck) Benes. He is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Bolivar, Ward.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife Sarah Benes; his 2nd wife Dorothy Benes; and a sister Dorothy Trouba.
He is survived by two brothers: Alvin Benes of FL, and Vladimir Benes of AK; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, September 17, 2018, at Pitts Chapel with Bishop Jason Barzee officiating. Burial will take place at 2:30 pm Monday, at the Pemberton-Thornsberry Cemetery Hawkeye, MO, north of Richland, MO, off Hwy BB on Blackoak Road.
