Carol Kirst Weber left a message on January 7, 2022:
My sincere sympathy in your loss. Lerona Kay was a classmate at York School and Central High School. In recent years she organized a York Elementary class reunion at Nichols Park. She had pictures of classmates and encouraged sharing memories of elementary school days. What a wonderful person beloved by all who knew her.
Jennifer Courville left a message on January 7, 2022:
Kay was such a sweet lady and had a big heart. I worked as her housekeeper for quite a while and appreciated her sincerity in always asking about my family and how each one was doing. . She loved and cared about people and had a great sense of humor... Praying for your family through this difficult time.
Mary Ellen Hopkins left a message on January 6, 2022:
My Aunt Kay was so much fun. She has been in my life, my whole life. She was so beautiful. She always had her hair done, makeup on, nails painted & smelled good. When you are a little girl growing up you are always drawn to those sorts of things. At Christmas time she was always trying to get all of us involved in playing games. When I was about 7, Aunt Kay & Uncle Joe took my siblings, 8 & 6, & me home with them for a week. I think she learned real quick not to do that again. We also got to ride in their convertible from Stoutland to Fort Leonard Wood to drop my Uncle Joe off. My sister Alisa & I had our 1960's scarfs on & away we went. With all that said the thing that brings me the most joy about my Aunt Kay is that she was a Christian & I know I will see her again, one day. No more pain, Aunt Kay, no more pain!
