We only kmet6 Levi several times when he visited our son Jarek. Levi was always nice and pleasant to0 talk to and be around. WE did not know Levi was a veteran. God bless him for that service to our country. Our condolences to his wife Tiffany and the family.

My sincere and deepest condolences to Teel’s family specially to his wife and children. I met Teel in US Navy we both work at the same Weapons Department G2. We often got assigned to work together or sent to the same teams. We got in trouble once or twice for silly stuff. I remember that once we were punished by making us to do inventory every day for a month. In our first deployment, he was my liberty body in Dubai. His love for reading Teel wanted to spend more time in the bookstore; and I just wanted to spend the day shopping, so we realized that we won’t be liberty bodies anymore; just remembering makes me smile. We sometimes got mad to each other, laugh out loud, (I think I laughed more because the unique way Teel used to freak out it was priceless pure gold.) our relationship it was like brother and sister. Yeah, he is my brother in uniform, and I think who ever knew Teel will remember him with a big smile because he was the kind of person who put a green in your face by just being him. There are no words to try to ease the suffering and the lost his family is going through; however, as a believer in Jesus Christ he is in heaven, he is at home, where is no more pain and one day all his family will reunite with him. It is not a goodbye it is just I see you later Teel.

I was so shocked and saddened to hear this news. He was a great friend and a brother in uniform. My deepest condolences to Mrs. Teel and his children God gives you the strength to help you go through this difficult time.

AOAN Teel or Levi Teel - I knew you as both - "It was an honor to watch you grow in the Navy. You were on the path to great things whether you stayed active or moved on with your own path outside the Navy. You were funny, frustrating, and most of all you brought G2 together at the peer level and at the upper leadership level. "Fair winds and following seas Shipmate may your journey onward be peaceful. We'll take it from here."

My deepest condolences to Teel’s family. I served with Teel in the Navy, in G2 Division. We were in the same duty section and often found ourselves stuck together on the boat, pulling armory watch on weekdays and weekends alike—whether in port or out on deployment. I’ll always remember Teel for his incredible ability to make us laugh, no matter the circumstances. He had such a bright, infectious spirit and was truly a good man. Whenever things got tough, he’d “freak out” in the funniest way, and he knew exactly how much it lifted everyone’s mood. He’s one of those shipmates who will forever come to mind whenever I think back on my Navy days. Rest in peace, Teel. My heartfelt condolences again to his family.

I served with Levi in the Navy from 2014 until 2016 when we both got out. Levi and I both worked in an armory together and both have polar opposite views on how country should be run and life in general. Levi and I would have great debates fueled by passion and belief. He usually won these debates but I never conceded as I was too proud and never would admit defeat to him. What amazed me about Levi, aside from his wits and IQ, was that no matter how different our views were, we became and remained friends and genuinely enjoyed each others company. I’m saddened to learn of his passing and battle with cancer. I’m happy that he is with the lord and will be waiting with open arms when his family meets him someday. Rest in peace my friend. Levi was more than a peer or a fellow sailor to me, he was a friend. We served together in the Navy and shared many conversations and discussions over the years. Levi talked openly about his life, his upbringing, and his experiences in the Navy. He showed up as his full self, with anger, happiness, sadness, and honesty, and that kind of openness leaves a mark. I’m grateful for the time I had with him and for the trust he shared. Levi was a good man and a strong friend, and I will carry what I learned from him forward. Thank you for the opportunity to remember and honor him.
