Lillian Marie McAdoo, 89, of Nixa, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2011 in Cox South Medical Center. She was born December 9, 1921 in El Dorado, Kansas to Mont and Nona Page.
Lillian was a long time member of Berean Baptist Church, were she had been very active teaching Sunday school and helping with missions. She was there everytime the church doors were open.
Lillian was united in marriage, November 15, 1942 in Augusta, Kansas to Lewis McAdoo.
Lillian was preceded in death by her husband; parents; two sisters; and four brothers.
She is survived by five daughters, Judith Marie Green and husband Richard, Sharon Lee Collins and husband, Danny, Charlotte Ann Taylor and husband, Ivan, Naomi Ruth Schrope and husband, Buck, and Janice Paulette Keim; twenty-one grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; one brother, Ralph Page; one sister, Irene Record; and a host of church family and friends.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, May 31, 2011 in Berean Baptist Church with Brother Jeff Ables officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 P.M., Monday, May 30, 2011 in Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been setup for missions in care of Berean Baptist Church, 507 East Norton Road, Springfield, Missouri, 65803.
