I attended grad school with Linda at Mu by distance. It was there that I connected with her, a wonderful soul. We traveled together to Panama and she introduced me to her lifelong friends she met during the Peace Corps. It was a profound experience. She was a selfless giving person who respected people from all walks of life. She was bright and learned and spoke fluent Spanish. I loved her and respected her. She is a role model for all older women and I am in awe of her end of life decision. I hope I can live up to her example in the end. She "made her mark" on this Earth as a better place for all of us. Thank you Linda for improving the world. I love you still.

I was fortunate to have been in the same Peace Corps group (14) as Linda. We had training together in Puerto Rico and saw each other while she was in Panama. It was a delight to see her at PC reunions - always a positive, happy person. My condolences to all. David Peterson Philadelphia
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
Brett Budach left a message on March 22, 2024:
I did not get to spend a lot of time with Linda, but I did get to spend a lot of time with Dana and Justin while working for them. During the small amount of time I got to spend with Linda and from what I heard through both Dana and Justin, I can say that she was certainly a bright light, a light that was especially magnified through Dana. Linda leaves behind a legacy of compassion and love, a legacy that I'm sure she knows is in safe hands. It is so difficult to lose people like Linda, but they invariably live on through the memories and impacts they've made on both their families and their communities. My heart goes out to everyone!

A tragic loss of a wonderful person. Linda was one of those people who holds a family together by her devotion to it. She was kind, smart, and dedicated. She was my go-to source for all Caldemeyer family history. I will miss her greatly.
