Linda Huggins, age 80, passed away on December 2, 2018 in Springfield, Missouri. She was born in Pinckneyville, Illinois on July 6, 1938 to Clementine and Clarence Preston. Linda Huggins, age 80, passed away on December 2, 2018 in Springfield, Missouri. She was born in Pinckneyville, Illinois on July 6, 1938 to Clementine and Clarence Preston. She married James Huggins of DuQuoin, IL in 1955.
Linda was a homemaker and enjoyed her home and decorating her home. She enjoyed her grandchildren, her great-grandchildren, her friends, her church and her Sunday School class very much.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and her brother Gene Preston of Sparta, IL.
She is survived by her two daughters, Dorice Gualdoni (husband Andy) of Johnson City, IL, and Cathy Kim Miller (husband James) of Nixa, MO, grandsons, Luca and Nicolai, Josh Miller Chris Miller (Wife Sally) and a great-granddaughter, Ollie and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, December 6, 2018, at 10:30 am in North Nixa Baptist Church with a short visitation prior to services beginning at 10:00 am.
Graveside services will be on Friday, December 7, 2018 at 10:00 am in Mueller Hill Cemetery, in Pinckneyville, IL.
