Linda Rae Umberger, who loved to be called “Momsy” by her kids, departed her loving family on March 19th, 2023 in Springfield, Missouri.

Linda was born in Kiester MN on May 29th, 1943 to Arlo and Hilma (Knutson) Flo.

Linda was mother to Clark Mikkelson of Willard MO, William Mikkelson of Senath MO, and Ann Kerns of Stewartville MO.  She was a loving and funny mother who blessed her children with her devotion, kindness, and sense of humor.

Linda migrated to the Phoenix area for a number of years, where she met and married Donald Umberger, and they later moved to the Denver area where she resided for over thirty years.  She loved the mountains and worked in a casino up in the mountains for a while.  Following the passing of Donald, she moved to Springfield MO to be close to her great grandchildren.

She is survived by her son Clark and wife Renee, son William, and daughter Ann and husband Rocky.  Also by her grandchildren Megan Bridwell, Lane Mikkelson, Charity and River Page and Emma Kerns, her great grandchildren Grace and Grant Bridwell, Lukas and Carter Ball.  She is also survived by her sisters Hilaire Clouse and Sylvia Halverson and their husbands of St. Cloud, MN and Keister MN respectively, as well as her brother Arwin (Al) Flo who resides on the family farm in Bricelyn MN.

She was preceded in death by her parents Arlo and Hilma Flo, and her second husband Donald Umberger.

A memorial gathering will occur at a later date in Minnesota.
