Linda Sue (Pollock) Cornelison of Springfield, Missouri, entered peacefully into rest on April 20th, 2026.
Linda was born in Springfield, Missouri, on October 1, 1957, to Bill and Betty (Pender) Pollock. She graduated from Parkview High School in 1975. She began her career at Cox Medical Center, working for 50 years before retiring in September 2025.
She was united in marriage to Elmo Cornelison on May 31, 1975. They celebrated their 50th anniversary last year.
The couple were blessed with one son, Micheal, the light of their lives. Linda loved her family, whether she was attending her grandchildren’s sporting events, concerts with her sister-in-law, gathering with cousins, or watching dirt racing and NASCAR, of which she was an avid fan.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents and her special aunt, Gena, who was like a mother to her.
Linda is survived by husband, Elmo; son, Micheal and his fiancée, Shawnee; three grandchildren, Amelia, Caroline, and Parker; and precious fur baby, Harley.
She is also survived by a very special brother, Bobby Pollock, best friend and sister-in-law, Kathy; one nephew, Travis (Alex) Burchell, great-nephew Jackson; uncles Dale Horton and Jerry Pender (Sue); special godchildren, Matt and Holly Menzie; two very dear friends, Kimberly Burk and Delilah Shobe; and a host of cousins, friends and Elmo’s extended family.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Rescue One.

Graveside service will be held on April 24th, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 3600 N. National. Family and friends are invited to attend. Following the graveside service, family and friends are invited to return to Greenlawn for light refreshments and fellowship.
