Lloyd “Buddy” Andrew Reuter Jr., age 86, of Springfield, MO, passed away on March 16, 2023 at Cox South Hospital. He was born on December 16, 1936, El Dorado, Arkansas, to Lloyd Andrew Reuter Sr. and Aline Swilley Reuter. He graduated from El Dorado High School in 1955  before attending the University of Arkansas, and then Trinity University where he received his masters in 1968. His career including serving as the Hospital Administrator for Skaggs Hospital in Branson, MO from 1970-1985, and then Cox Home Parental Service from 2005 till his retirement in 2015. He was united in marriage to Helen Elizabeth Eicher Reuter on  December 19, 1959, in Springdale, AR. His memberships included the Fellowship Bible Church in Rogersville, MO, the Lions Club, the University of Arkansas football and track teams 1955-1960, where he was a member of the Letterman’s Club.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 40 years Helen E. Reuter; parents Lloyd Andrew Reuter Sr. and Aline Swilley Reuter; and brothers, Richard Reuter and Charles Reuter. He is survived by his children Kent Allen Reuter of Springfield and Kraig (wife Brenda) Reuter of Springfield; 3 grandchildren, Kyle Reuter of McKinney, TX, Matthew Reuter of McLendon Chisholm, TX, and Kayla Keiser of Wylie, TX; 2 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Betty Parker of Norphlet, Ar.

Graveside service will be held Saturday March 25, 2023, 2:00 PM, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
