Lois Marie Hampton, 79, of Springfield passed away Thursday September 30, 2010 in her home. She was born to the late Art and Edna Gorsuch on March 22, 1931 in Mullen Nebraska. Lois Marie Hampton, 79, of Springfield passed away Thursday September 30, 2010 in her home.
She was born to the late Art and Edna Gorsuch on March 22, 1931 in Mullen Nebraska. She was also preceded in death by her infant daughter Dixie Ann, one brother and two sisters. She is survived by three daughters Bonnie Bays and husband Garry, Donna Young and husband Francis, and Emma Vote and husband Earl; two sons Ron Hampton and Barbara Sharp and John Hampton and wife Anita;eleven grandchildren ;sixteen great grandchildren;three brothers;two sisters; nieces and a nephew; and a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 4, 2010 in Pitts Chapel with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday afternoon from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Greenlawn Pitts Chapel, Bolivar, MO.
