Lois Pauline Porter, age 80, of Springfield, MO, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Mercy Villa. She was born April 24, 1932, in Dante, Virginia, to Robert and Lillie Castle Cooper. She loved to cook, and listen to old time southern gospel music, Lois collected angels and loved to read christian novels and all types of books. She was preceded in death by her parents, her Daughter Patricia Sue Greer. She is survived by three sisters, Bobbie Duke, Frances Rasnake and Geneva Irene Rose; two grandchildren; four great grandaughters and a great great grandson, three nephews and two neices. Funeral services will be Monday, May 21, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, Springfield, MO . Burial will be held in Greenelawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
