Lou Anna Frank Ricketts, aged 62, passed away on September 12, 2015, after surviving five years with stage four cancer. Lou was born June 14, 1953, and was the fourth child of Nora Pettypool Frank and Carl Frank.
Lou Anna was a hardworking, very dedicated nurse. Nursing wasn’t just her career, it was her passion. She spent the majority of her adult life at the bed sides of the sick, taking care of them, and nursing them back to health. She truly loved her job.
Lou is survived by her sister, Tresa and brother, Carl; her two daughters, Amanda and Elizabeth.
Being a low key type of person, Lou Anna wished not to have a funeral. Instead, per her wishes, she will be cremated, and have her cremains sprinkled at her parents’ grave site. In lieu of flowers, Lou Anna requested that loved ones make donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Children’s Miracle Network, or the Humane Society.
Lou Anna will be deeply missed by those who cherished her giving spirit.
