The Norenberg children, with heavy sadness , announce the passing of their dad, Lowell “Gus” Norenberg on October 22, 2025 at the age of 92.
Gus was born in Keota IA on May 20, 1933. He was preceded in death by his wife Anna Norenberg and grandson Dustin Bailey.
Gus is survived by daughter Mary Ann Johnson (husband Chris), son Bryan Norenberg (wife Janette), daughter Cheryl Goodpaster (husband Karry), and daughter Carol Johnson (husband Bruce).As well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The majority of Gus’s career was spent with Edie Mechanical in Branson, MO. Throughout his time in Branson, Gus made a lasting impression with everyone he met. Gus never met a stranger.
He was a devoted family man and husband. Gus and Anna had been married for 56 years.
He will be greatly missed by all.
Gus devoted countless hours of his time to Nathaniel Green Park and spent many hours there with Anna.
The family requests donations, in lieu of flowers, be made to Nathaniel Green Park in his memory.
