Lucy McReynolds, 89, departed this life and went home to be with God on January 15, 2014 at Ozark Nursing Home. Lucy was born on December 25, 1924 and was preceded in death by her husband, Roy McReynolds, her parents, sister and one daughter, Rosemary. Lucy was untied in marriage with the love of her life, Roy, on July 12, 1941. A loving and devoted mother, Lucy is survived by six children and their spouses: Jerry McReynolds and his wife, Ramona, JR McReynolds, Jack McReynolds, Linda Perdue and her husband, Jim, Karen Kays and her husband, James, and Angela Farley and her husband, Rick.Lucy was also an adoring and proud grandmother to twelve grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Lucy is also survived by countless friends and extended family members who will forever remember her sweet and caring nature.Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2014 at Greenlawn North Funeral Home, in Springfield, MO from 5:00-7:00 pm.A memorial service to celebrate the life of Lucy will be held Monday, January 20, 2014 at Greenlawn North Funeral Home, in Springfield at 3:00 pm. The memorial will be presided over by Reverend Earnest Fausett. Burial will follow at Danforth Cemetery.
