Lula May (Beller) Bay, age 83, a longtime resident of Springfield, Missouri passed away peacefully on August 26, 2018 at Sonshine Manor Skilled Care in Republic. Lu was born in Mountain View, Missouri on May 15, 1935 to Emma Eve (Malone) Beller and Arthur Harrison Beller. She was best known for her kind and loving nature and her service to others as a social worker who assisted patients and families through hospice care.

Lu is survived by daughter, Dianne Lynn (Bay) Moore, son-in-law Joe Keith Moore, great granddaughter Destiny Rain (Moore) Richards, twin great-great granddaughters, Anna Belle and Autumn Rae Richards, nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Kenneth Leroy Bay, grandson Jason Michael Moore, her parents, and ten brothers and sisters.

A memorial service will be led by Pastor Lynn Hebert and held at Greenlawn North Funeral Home, 3506 N. National, Springfield, Missouri 65803 on Friday, August 31, 2018 at 1 PM. Interment will follow at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield.
