Lynn “Carol” Goodrich
March 8, 1943 – September 9, 2026
Lynn “Carol” Goodrich, age 83, passed away on September 9, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, hard work, and treasured memories. Born on March 8, 1943, Carol lived a life centered around family, love, and caring for those around her. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, and coworker whose door and heart were always open.
Carol is survived by her husband, John, and her children, Todd, Lynn, and Lesa, whom she cherished deeply. Her children and their families were the greatest joys of her life, and she treasured every visit, phone call, gathering, and conversation. She also welcomed their spouses, Cary, Yana, and Mike, into the family and enjoyed spending time with them, visiting, and sharing family gatherings and special occasions.
Carol held an especially tender place in her heart for her grandchildren. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Jason, Ashley, Heather, Megan, Elizabeth, Kaley, Nichole, and Mariah. She loved watching them grow, celebrating the milestones in their lives, hearing about what was happening in their families, and simply spending time with them. Whether through a visit, a phone call, a holiday gathering, or an everyday conversation, time with her grandchildren was precious to Carol. She wanted each of them to know how deeply they were loved and how proud she was to be their grandmother.
Carol also welcomed her grandchildren’s spouses—Amy, Jeremy, Brad, Shawn, Grant, Michael, and Nathan—into her heart and family. She was grateful for the love, companionship, and happiness they brought to her grandchildren’s lives and considered them an important part of the family she cherished.
That love grew even greater as another generation joined the family. Carol was a cherished great-grandmother to Grace, Alexis, Madison, Makenna, Allie, Hunter, Kase, Karlie, MacKenzie, Samuel, Adalynn, Rhett, Hazel, Jaxsyn, Miles, and Murphy. Seeing her family grow through her grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her tremendous happiness. Each one held a special place in her heart, and she treasured the moments when generations of her family could all be together.
Carol is also lovingly remembered by her niece, Jeaneanne; nephews, Steven and Chuck; he sisters in law Ilene ( Richard) and Martha; her surviving cousins, Doug, Shirley, and Marilyn and their families.
Carol loved the excitement of Christmas morning—the laughter, conversations, smiles, and happy commotion that filled the house as everyone gathered. She especially treasured seeing her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren together. Watching the younger generations laugh, open gifts, visit with one another, and fill her home with life brought her great happiness. She took tremendous joy in watching her family grow through the years, and her generosity, welcoming spirit, and love made every holiday special.
She found happiness in the simple beauty of nature and especially enjoyed spending time outdoors and watching the birds. Carol also had a special talent for growing things. She loved planting and caring for flowers, plants, and gardens, and it seemed she could grow just about anything. With patience, care, and a true green thumb, she brought beauty and life wherever she planted.
Carol worked tirelessly for many years and took great pride in her work at Lowe’s, where she formed lasting friendships with her coworkers. She believed in working hard and brought that same dedication and care to everything she did.
Carol also took great pride in keeping her home clean and orderly. Known affectionately by her family as a “clean freak,” her attention to her home reflected the care and pride she brought to everything she did.
Above all, Carol’s greatest gift was the love she gave so freely. She had a way of making people feel welcome, valued, and cared for. She stayed connected with those she loved through visits, phone calls, family gatherings, and traditions that became treasured parts of their lives.
Carol will be deeply missed, but the love she gave will never be lost. Her legacy lives on through her family, who loved her very much and will carry her memory in their hearts always. The love she poured into her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren will continue through them, generation after generation.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Geneva; her parents in-law, John Sr and Dorothy; her dear sister, Virginia; and her beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins. She leaves behind a family forever shaped by her love, generosity, strength, and devotion.
Her life was a blessing, and her memory a treasure.
