Mae “Bonnie” Lavon Mast, age 88, passed away on May 26, 2013. She was born in Des Moines, Iowa on May 5, 1925 to Chester and Emma (Campbell) Ruby. She loved sports, especially the Denver Broncos where she was a devoted fan and she is retired from General Electric after 17 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 57 years, Jesse F. Mast and a son, Terry Mast. Bonnie is survived by her son, Larry L. Mast (Jenny) of Virginia Beach, VA., her grandchildren, Terry L. Mast Jr. (Tammy) of Hollister, MO., Ronny Mast (Brenna) of Joplin, MO., Stephen Mast of Philadelphia, PA., Dawn Fizer (Terry) of Birmingham, AL., Tanja Stockdale (Lonnie) of Battlefield, MO., and Jessica Flage (Dave) of Virginia Beach, VA. and a daughter-in-law, Ellen. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren Angela Mast, Brian Mast, Alexis Fizer, Reagan Fizer, Kristen Stockdale, Hanna Stockdale, Dominic Flage and Nathan Flage, and a brother Tom Ruby of Colorado, and her ex-husband and special friend Bill Gregg of Springfield. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, June 5, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. in Greenlawn Funeral Home South with burial following in the U.S. National Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 4, 2013, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
