Neil Brandt left a message on November 16, 2022:
I met Marc years ago at the Jewish Federation in Philly. He had a presentation for One Day U. I chatted him up. We exchanged emails and he did two Zoom presentations for my synagogue at a reduced rate. I am very sorry that he died. He was a funny, entertaining lecturer. Most of all he was a good guy. No wonder he didn't answer my email in September. May his memory be a blessing.

One of the best webinars I ever attended was led by Mr. Lapadula. He had insight into film and all the nuances like nobody I've ever seen. I will never watch another Hitchcock movie the same. What an enormous loss in our community. My deepest empathy to his loved ones. Rest in Peace.

The words from The Sound of Music come to mind. How do you solve a problem like Marc? How do you catch a cloud and pin it down? Marc was that cloud. He always pushed himself to be better - a better professor, a better speaker, a better friend, a better everything. In the process he pushed all of us to be better too. His booming voice, contagious laugh and his bigger than life presence will be missed by all who knew him. Rest in peace. Prayers for Marc, Jami and his family.
