We were teammates in football and track in the late 70s. Marc placed Second in the state in the pole vault his senior year. He was good. Myself and the other pole vaulter's did not attend the state track meet and we would joke with him later if we would’ve known he was gonna do that we would’ve been there! Marc was one of my best friends growing up on the north side of Springfield. RIP my friend

We were shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Mark’s sudden passing. Mark built our Springfield home as well as additions to our lake home. We loved working with Mark and appreciated his work ethic and ideas. He became a friend as we spent a lot of time together! Our thoughts and prayers are with Nancy and his whole family. He will be missed.

Mark was Such a good man. Both inside and outside. I watched the love he gave Nick and Steve over 12-15 years while we were neighbors. Mark will be in a large number of hearts for many years. May God bless Nancy and the Boys
