Margaret Clara Harney, age 93,of Springfield passed away June 5, 2012. She was born October 10, 1918 in Jasper MN, the daughter of Marcel and Augusta Dhaemers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Harney, sisters Lucille Greer and Barbara Paries, brothers Alphones LeRoy and August. She is survived by her sister Dorothy Wilkins and brothers Larry and Robert Dhaemers. She also leaves a good friend and neighbor Darrell whom she spent many hours visiting and talking about gardening. Margaret enjoyed her time as a seamstress and also enjoyed her flowers and growing tomatoes and peppers. She settled in Springfield in 1978 where she spent over 30 years volunteering at St Johns and the Salvation Army. She was an active member of Praise Assembly,Margaret has touched many lives and leaves behind many friends. A memorial service will be held at Praise Assembly 3535 North Glenstone, Springfield MO.on Tuesday June 12 at 5;00 p.m.. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Good Sheppard Hospice of Springfield or the Salvation Army.
