Marguriette Jean Hanners passed away on October 21st, 2020 after a battle with cancer. Her loving devotion to her family and Christ gave her strength to keep fighting and ultimately brought her peace.
She was born on January 14th, 1947 in Springfield, MO. She retired from French’s after 39 years. She was known for being generous and helpful, kind to all and having never met a stranger. She enjoyed sharing her love in Christ with her family and friends. She filled the quiet moments with mesmerizing stories of the bible. Her favorite place on earth was the beach where she enjoyed many sunsets and rolling waves. She had a very contagious smile where she would welcome you with open arms; she will be desperately missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Inez Burke as well as several siblings. She is survived by her children, Lyndall, Connie, and Ronnie Hanners as well as grandchildren: Raychelle Palmer, Adam Coonis, Seth Hanners, Annistee Choate, Ian Hanners, and Emma Hanners. She is also survived by her great grandchildren: Evianna and Teigan Choate, Hazel Coonis, her best friend Jean Williams and many other family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 29th, 2020 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Green Lawn North Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 30th 2020 at 10 am at Green Lawn North followed immediately by a burial at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
