Marianne Miles, age 69, of Springfield, MO passed away on April 30, 2024, at her Home. Marianne was born to Daniel and Vivian Montgomery on November 26, 1954 in Sapulpa, OK, where she was also raised.
Marianne was employed as an Administrative Assistant with US Steel for many years. When not working, she had many interests and pastimes including going to the local ballet, playing mahjong, and pool sharkery. Nothing, however, brought her more fulfillment than taking care of all the neighborhood birds. Marianne will be remembered as a stubborn, caring, god fearing individual. She was often described by others as a “hoot”. Marianne leaves behind a legacy of laughter, individuality, and love.
Marianne was preceded in death by her Husband Howard Miles, her parents Daniel and Vivian, and her sister Diane.
Marianne is survived by two sons, Michael Miles and Brandan Miles. One Daughter-In-Law, Britney Miles, and 5 grandchildren- Madyson Solinger, Drake Owens, Darian Gardner, Alannah Gardner, and Jahvon Gardner.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home South.
