Marie S. Imrie, 96, Springfield, Mo, passed from this life on Sunday, July 31, 2011, at Magnolia Square. She was born June 11, 1915, in Seymour, Mo, to William and Catherine Silvey. She worked overseas in the Civil and Foreign Services in Korea and Vietnam. She served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 6 sisters, and 3 brothers.
She is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins
Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, at Greenlawn Funeral Home South. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. before the services.
Memorial contributions may be made to D.A.V. Chapter 2, 1708 E. St. Louis St, Springfield, Mo 65804. Services have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home South.
