Marilyn Adams Lutz, of Ozark, MO, 79, went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, August 19. Beloved wife of Charlie Lutz, deceased. They were married in Louisville, KY on October 30, 1965 and were married 45 years. She is the precious Mother of two children in heaven and two children on earth. One baby that she lost in a miscarriage and Melissa Kay who died in 1968 at 8 months of age, Angela Hart of Ozark, and Kelly Boever of Rogersville. She was a treasured mother-in-law to Dan Boever whom she loved as a son. She is the beloved Mamaw of Jessica Yates, Rogersville and Justus Boever, Omaha. She fiercely loved her grand in-laws Chad Yates and Kimmy Boever. She found so much joy in her great grandbabies, Ryker Yates, 8 and Ivy Yates, 7. She was preceded in death by her parents Richard and Myrtle Adams. She treasured her sisters and brother, Betty Baker, Alice Newton, Barbara Welch, Joan Hester, and Richard Adams (deceased) along with many nieces and nephews. Most of all, she is a beloved child of Jesus Christ. She served her Lord for 58 years. Every day of her life was spent serving others and witnessing for Jesus. She had a such heart for missions. She is now whole and health and we know she had the best homecoming ever!
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
“So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord. For we walk by faith, not by sight. We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord. Therefore we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to Him.” II Cor. 5: 6-9
We would like to extend a special thanks to Emily Grubaugh and the CoxHealth at Home Hospice team for the delicate care they gave in our mother’s final days.
Services to celebrate Marilyn’s life will be held at Crossway Baptist Church on Saturday, August 22. Visitation will be at 11:00am and funeral at 1:00pm.
