Marjorie Lou (Hair) Thornton passed away September 10, 2012. She was born in Crane, Missouri on January 28, 1926. She attended Missouri State College in Springfield, Missouri.
She married Ralph Thornton in 1945. They had three children: Virginia McRoberts and Larry Thornton (both deceased), and Shirley Washburn and her husband Noel, living in Garfield, Arkansas. They have one grandson, two great-grandsons, and three great-great-granddaughters.
Arrangements are under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home South. Visitation will be in the First Baptist Church on Friday, September 14, at 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be in the First Baptist Church in Republic, Missouri at 2:00 p.m. on September 15.
Flowers can be donated to the First Baptist Building Fund.
