Marjorie Marie Evans, age 74, of Hartville, MO, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2012, at Hartville Care Center. She was born July 21, 1937, in Springfield, MO, to Otis and Goldie (Stamps) Hoppe. Marjorie was united in marriage to Billy Johnny Evans, in Springfield, Missouri. Marjorie enjoyed fishing, camping, and playing bingo. Her greatest love was raising her sons.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Johnny Evans; parents, Otis Henry and Goldie Hoppe; two sons, Ricky Lee Evans and Monty Ray Evans; and one brother, Joe Hoppe. She is survived by five sons,Johnny Evans and wife Denise of Hartville, MO, Ronny Evans and wife Donna of Springfield, Carl Fly and wife Vivian of St. Marys, OH, Tommy Evans and wife Deanna of Springfield, and Lonny Evans of Hartville; twenty-one grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a host of friends and family.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at Robberson Prairie Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hartville Care Center.
