Marjorie R. Gurney age 94 of Branson, Missouri died July 5, 2013 at the Forsyth Nursing and Rehab in Forsyth, Missouri.
She was born on September 12, 1918 in Detroit, Michigan the daughter of James R. Fraser and Perna Reed Fraser. She was a homemaker and had been a resident of the area since 2005.
Survivors are two children: Donald M. Gurney of Grosse Ile, Michigan and Glenda West of Walnut Shade, Missouri. Five grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Theodore Gurney, two brothers and one sister.
Visitation will be held from 7 until 9 PM, Monday, July 8, 2013 at Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson. Private burial will be at a later date in Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, Missouri.
