Mark Anthony Vincent, age 62, of Springfield passed away at his home on
Sunday, April 16, 2023, following a long illness. He was saved at an early age and joined Goodson Missionary Baptist Church, where he remained a member until his death.
Mark was always passionate about various kinds of music and writing songs. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball and Kansas City Chiefs football fan. Mark also enjoyed cooking and spending time with family and friends.
He attended Bolivar High School, Class of 1978. Mark was employed for the past 14 years by Dairy Farmers of America, in positions on the lines and as a forklift driver in the warehouse.
Surviving are his parents, Deral and Joan Vincent; siblings, Alan and Jenine VIncent, Debbie and Alva Rains, Diane and Brent Hart; daughters, Erica Vincent and Hope Francka; grandchildren, Landon Kohler, Mia Vincent, Mickinley Richardson and Brooklyn Henson. Also surviving are his aunt and uncle Terry and Marvin Ashlock; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 22, at Pitts Chapel in Bolivar. Services will follow at 11 a.m. at the chapel with Brother Dallas Stockdale and Brother Mike McCurry officiating. Burial will follow at Goodson Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
