Mark Johnathan Daughtry, age 58, born here in Springfield, MO on April 28, 1955, went to be with our Beloved Lord on the morning of December 6, 2013, after a long and brave battle with multiple Illnesses.
Mark is survived by one older brother Hyle F. Daughtry along with his mate Jayne Deam. One younger sister, Patricia G. (Daughtry) Delp along with her husband James M.Delp. His friend and partner of many years, David Clutter.One niece, Mandy E. Hillemann along with his two Great Nieces and two Great Nephews.
He graduated from Glendale High and recieved his Degree in Horticulture (now) M.S.U. He worked at our Springfield Airport for several years, plus many more with Blue Cross Blue Shield. Mark had a host of friends from everywhere. He never met a stranger. Anyone who came in contact with him was a better person for it.
Mark was happiest when he had his hands in the dirt, planting something Beautiful or Cooking for his family and friends. He was very proud to be an instrumental part of Starting up “APO” AIDS Project of the Ozarks. GOD truly broke the mold when he made our Mark. He will be missed every single day until we get to see him again.

A memorial Celebration of Mark’s Life will be Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Greenlawn North Funeral Home. Mark will be cremated and inurnment will be at a later time.
