Mark Randall Schofield, age 54, of Springfield, MO, passed away Sunday, August 21, 2016 at Mercy Hospital. He was born February 9, 1962, in Springfield, MO, to Earnest and Jane (Willhite) Schofield. He graduated from Ash Grove High School. Mark worked with his dad as a master plumber; he was involved in building military bases in Kosovo and Iraq. He loved to use his talents to build things, spending time on his Harley, and taking care of his animals.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earnest and
Jane Schofield. He is survived by his Fiancé, Twila Matthews, Springfield, MO; three sisters, Theresa Gass, Walnut Grove, MO
Brenda Trupe, Vacaville, CA, and Karen Stewart, Springfield, MO; his dog, Zeke; four nephews, Chad Long, Travis Long, Derek Stockton, Michael Stewart; two great-nieces, Karshta Stockton and Alexis Long; two great-nephews, Justis Stockton and Brock Long; and a host of family and friends .
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, August 27, 2016, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Springfield, MO with Mr. Kevin Wilson officiating. A memorial gathering will be held at Harold Baptist Church 10110 North Farm Road 51, Walnut Grove, Missouri. Services have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home North, Springfield, MO.
