Mark Tate Brown of pleasant Hope, MO went to join his parents, Tom and Fran(Gleckler) Brown on March 12, 2016 at the age of fifty-three.
Tate is survived by his three sons : Dakota, Dalton, and Denver Brown, of Aurora, MO; brother Gary(Angela) Brown of springfield, MO; sister Estha Brown of Lincoln, NE; nieces and nephews, Kaylee O’Grady of Amsterdam, Holland, Thomas of Lincoln, NE, Keldon, Kylan, and Kendric Brown all of Springfield, MO, a myriad of aunts and uncles and cousins; honorary families Waylon and Kathi cooper; kids and Tammie Morris and family, and his extended missionary family.
Tate was born in Quincy, IL on December 9, 1962. He was the oldest of three children born to Tom and Fran. Tate was raised as a missionary kid in Lima, Peru. He eventually settled in the Springfield area in 1985. He was a member of Cherry Street Baptist church in Springfield, MO, and worked at Bristol Manufacturing for fifteen years. Tate loved fishing and spending time with his boys. He loved creating things with wood and other random objects. He was a practical joker with a unique sense of humor. Tate’s priority in life was his family and friends. Tate loved deeply and will be deeply missed. A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 PM, Saturday March 19 at Cherry Street Baptist Church (Chapel) 1201 S Oak Grove Ave. Springfield, MO 65804.
