Marsha Joan Bower 75, Springfield, MO. passed away November 23, 2019 in her home after a long illness. She was born in St.Louis, MO. on December 4, 1943, to Marshall and Betty (Hoffman) Moritz. She was a graduate of the Brentwood, MO. High School. The day after graduation she started to work at Apex Photo. The next year Marsha married Ronald Bower on October 22, 1962. Shortly after Marsha and Ron were married, Marsha was baptized. She continued working at Apex for 8+ years. Then she had two children and became a housewife and mother. Later they moved to Summersville, MO. where she helped with Bower Automotive. Later she worked for Mountain View Fabricating (FAB) in Mt. View, MO making coin changers for machines. In the early 2000's, Ron and she moved to Springfield, MO. She was a long-time member of the Watermill Church of Christ. She loved knitting and the color purple.
Marsha was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Mark. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Ronald Bower, her daughter, Rhonda and her son Donald Bower, three grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 29, 2019, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, with visitation one hour before services, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday, at the Summersville, MO. cemetery.
