It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Martha Anne Wroolie, a beloved mother, grandmother, and business owner, who left us peacefully on January 17, 2026, at the age of 83. Born on March 5, 1942, in Beloit, Kansas, Martha brought joy and creativity into the lives of all who knew her.
Martha lived in Springfield, Missouri, where she poured her heart into her passions. With a bachelor’s degree in Clothing and a minor in Art, Martha had a true eye for beauty. Her warmth and talent were particularly evident in her love for quilting, a craft she cherished deeply. For many years, she led a quilting guild, sharing her creativity and expertise with others in the community. She also enjoyed cross stitch, embroidery, reading, gardening, and baking—each activity infused with her nurturing spirit.
In addition to her creative pursuits, Martha and her late husband owned a frame shop in Atlanta, where they spent countless hours surrounded by art and the people who appreciated it.
Martha is survived by: son Danny Wroolie and his family, son-n-law Larry Dalton and his family, daughter Pam Moneypenny and her family, son John Wroolie and together they will carry on her legacy of creativity and kindness.
Her family invites all who loved Martha to celebrate her remarkable life. Memorial services will be held on Friday, January 30th 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm, where friends and family can share stories, laughter, and the vibrant memories she created throughout her life.
In remembering Martha, let us honor her spirit by embracing our creative passions, nurturing one another, and finding beauty in the world around us. She will be deeply missed but forever cherished in our hearts.
Martha was preceded in death by: husband David Wroolie, parents Lawrence Englebert, Marie Engelbert, daughter Sabrina Dalton, grandson Jeffrey Moneypenny.
