Martha Jane Williams, age 80, passed away at home on Sunday, November 5, 2023. She was born on April 30, 1943, in Springfield, Missouri. She graduated from Central High School in 1961 and went on to work for Positronic Industries until her retirement.

She married Jerry Williams in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, on April 13, 2001. She was a member of the Sac River Cowboy Church. She loved going to the Northview Senior Center and loved her pets. She always tried to spread love wherever she went.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Eliza Ege, brother: Dwain Ege, and a sister: Cecelia Riley. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Williams; her children: Kevin (Sandy) and Paula (Jackie); her grandchildren: David (Rachel), Sonia (Mike), Ashley (Vanesa), Amber (Roger) and Kayla (Kameron); her great-grandchildren: Emma, Collin, Brady, Ted, Ada, and Dash; her brother: Richard, Joe (Mai), Jerry (Helen), and Fred (Judie); as well as many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.

Martha will be remembered as a loving, kind, and wonderful person by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri in Martha’s honor, located at 3161 W. Norton Rd., Springfield, MO 65803.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 9, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The funeral will be on Friday, November 10, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North at 1:00 p.m. with burial following at Eastlawn Cemetery.
