Mary Dolores Cloud, 83, of Springfield, MO, passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at Mercy Villa. She was born October 17, 1929, to Cullie R. Wehr and Mae Lula Wehr. She attended school in Springfield, graduating from Senior High School.

She married William C. Cloud on June 15, 1947 and they enjoyed 53 years together. Her greatest joy came from being a wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed being “Grammy” to all the children in her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Cloud, one brother, Bob Wehr, and three sisters, Bettie Garmon, Shirley Sweaney, and Patsy Harris. Surviving her are her two daughters and their husbands, Cathy and Don Cooley; and Debbie and Bob Allen. Also surviving are her much loved grandsons, Drey Cooley and his wife, Jenny; and Blake Allen. The light of her life for the last 19 months has been her great-grandson, Jack Owen Cooley. She leaves behind many special nieces and nephews and a great number of friends.

There will be a visitation celebrating her life on Sunday, August 4, 2013 at the Greenlawn Funeral Home North from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The following day, Monday, August 5, 2013 a graveside service will be held at 4:30 P.M., in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family is so appreciative of the care she received from Mercy Hospital, Mercy Villa and Hospice Compassus. We also want to thank the many friends and family who offered their love and support to our precious mother.

Mary was loved by many, and though she is gone from our sight, she will always be in our hearts.
