Mary Elena Pendergrass, age 86 of Pleasant Hope, MO, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2020, at Citizens Memorial Healthcare Facility Bolivar, MO. She was born December 21, 1933, in Strafford, MO, to John and Virginia (Mills) Willoughby. She was united in marriage to George Wilson Pendergrass September 22, 1951.
She is preceded in death by her parents; a brother Charles Willoughby; and a sister Helen Bristow.
Mary is survived by her husband George; one son Rick Pendergrass and his wife Rhonda of Pleasant Hope, MO; one grandson Josh Pendergrass of Pleasant Hope, MO; as well as many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Monday, February 10, 2020, at Pitts Chapel. A Graveside service will be 11:00 am Tuesday, February 11, 2020, at Rock Prairie Cemetery Pleasant Hope, MO, with Bro. Donald Lane officiating.
