Mary E. Shane went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 25, 2011. She was born November 9, 1923, to Alford and Ida Ice, in Rogersville, MO., where she spent her childhood. She moved to Springfield as an adult where she worked for many years at Assembly of God. She married Harvey W. Shane in 1948. She is survived by a son Alford Shane. She was preceded in death by her husband Harvey Shane, three brothers; Karl, Lester and Albert Ice, one sister Wanda Klima, and her mother and father. She will be missed by her family and friends. Graveside service will be held at 4:00 PM Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at Eastlawn Cemetery in Springfield.
