Mary June Kathlene (Huff) Jones was born June 22, 1922 to John and Connie (Bass) Huff in Fair Grove, Missouri.
June accepted Christ as a teenager and was a member of Mt. Comfort Church for 40 years teaching Sunday School. June married Howard Jones June 26, 1941. They were blessed with daughter, Janice Jo, November 9, 1942.
In 1975, Howard and June moved from Greene County to their farm in Pleasant Hope. June joined the Fundamental Baptist Church in 1980.
June is survived by her daughter, Janice and Michael Hicks; four grandchildren, Doug Hicks and wife Tonya, Janine Sitton and husband Kevin, Jodie McCrickard and husband Ray, Daniel Hicks and wife Lori; nine great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; many nieces; nephews; and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, March 12, 2011 in Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Burial will follow in Bass Chapel Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Friday, March 11, 2011 also in Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
